Sequatchie Skies

Bill Keneely on The Weather Channel mentioned Sequatchie County by name as he indicated the severe thunderstorms we got Monday afternoon. Kathy braved the rowdy postfrontal NW on Tuesday after the overcast cleared off. Wednesday was NE but apparently had enough convection to get Bill Colvin to 2000 over. Curly Dunn, Phil, and Kathy got some air and Curly reported a wonder even with the cross.

Thursday and Friday went southerly as we waited out another passage. Sunday was postfrontal, W, and beautiful. Curly, Mark, Bill, and Jeff made it to the last gap and back. Matt Wagner made his out and return to the end of the valley. John Lawton, Kathy, Steve, Phil, and Kenny Sandefer landed near the Marion County Airport.

The forecast calls for good chance of rain with slow passage of a large system Wednesday through Saturday. Maybe it'll be good Sunday. See you in the sky!
